The Kind Sunscreen is a clean, hard-working addition to any skincare routine. We believe in less is more.

Founded by Emma Corrie following years of experience in the health and wellness space, Emma was inspired by her own experience with her young boy’s sensitive skin and living in sunny Queensland, Australia, and so she set-out to create a physical sunscreen that was kind to all.

Other sunscreens include water to save on costs, but ours is made only of quality ingredients. By removing water we were able to avoid synthetic compounds — so no emulsifiers, thickeners or stabilisers. We have used Certified Organic or Sustainably Sourced ingredients where possible.

Our Zinc based sunscreen is SPF 30 & Broad Spectrum (protection from both UVA & UVB). It is Made in Australia and adheres to the TGA guidelines. So you know it’s been tried & tested for quality.

Reef safe formula & packaging

Our sunscreen is reef & ocean friendly, cruelty free & vegan. Our tubes are manufactured from existing excess plastic and are recyclable – so they can continue to be reused. Our carton is constructed from 100% recycled card. Yep, we’ve done our very best to create a product that is kind in every way.

Application on the go

Sunscreen is an everyday necessity, and should be reapplied every 4 hours (or sooner if swimming or exercising). Our sunscreen is your go-anywhere must-have pocket sun protection!

FAQ

Is it suitable for blemish prone skin? Yes, mineral sunscreens are better for blemish prone skin. Because the zinc oxide sits on the skins surface to protect it from harmful sources of light, so it can’t get inside pores to clog them.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin? Because our sunscreen has no chemicals, there are no known skin irritants that may cause reactions. We have minimal ingredients, each has a very low allergenic rating to ensure our sunscreen is suitable for all skin types — including pregnant and nursing mothers. It’s also fragrance free. Always do a skin patch test on the inside of wrist or neck first if you are concerned about reaction.

Does it protect against UVA and UVB? Yes, The Kind Sunscreen is SPF30 broad spectrum and provides protection against both UVA & UVB.

Chemical free to avoid bleaching our coral reefs, in a tube made from reused existing plastic & a carton constructed of recycled card.
