Meet Elaïo
Elaïo ( ἔλαιον) means Oil in Ancient Greek
APPLICATION
Perfume oils are applied directly to the skin. Roll the ball of your bottle on pulse points; the inside of your wrists, the hollow of your elbow, on your neck, behind your knees and anywhere you feel your heart beating.

Elaïo perfumes are imagined in Bordeaux, developed in Grasse, and manufactured in France’s Aquitaine region.
CONSCIOUS
Elaïo are committed to responsible sourcing and sustainable packaging choices utilising recycled and recyclable glass bottles made from green waste, and FSC certified cases and labels. Vegan. Unisex.
EXPERT TIPS
The more moisturised and supple your skin, the longer the fragrance will linger on the skin. You can even add a gesture of fragrance to the ends of the hair!

Bérénice Cauchois
Elaïo is a French perfume house that produce intimate, oil-based perfumes as an extension of your beauty and self care ritual.
Founded in 2022 by Bérénice Cauchois and her sister Héloïse, Bérénice has been fascinated by beauty and highly attuned to scent since childhood. Passionate about the emotion that perfume provides, and following a career with some of France’s most beautiful cosmetic and perfume houses, she followed her intuition and created an authentic, conscious and unique fragrance line. Elaïo is the result of her professional and artistic journey into perfumery.
“Perfuming yourself is not a trivial gesture, it expresses much more than you might imagine. Perfume does not only have the goal of “making us smell good”, it expresses our character and our singularity. From this idea, I wanted to express a more spontaneous perfumery, in a more direct, more intimate and gentler way for the skin. I like the idea that we can choose a perfume for the emotion it arouses in us, much more than by the desire to identify with a trend or a dictated fashion. A conscious choice
Choosing a scent for oneself is a very personal and unique process. In eliminating alcohol and choosing a base of oil you enjoy the full and exact experience when the perfumes activate with heat on the skin. A gesture of self-love.
Natural and vegetal oils replace alcohol, like memories of the past, of ancient times where flowers and spices were infused in oils and balms.
Elaïo is made in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France.
The Perfumers
Elaïo collaborated with two esteemed perfumers for the debut collection; Clémentine Humeau & Marie-Julie Hébert
Clémentine Humeau is a perfumer who has combined her passions for music, scents and travel. Her atypical career, rich in experience, has enabled her to develop her artistic sense and olfactory sensitivity. She perfect her skills at the International School of Perfumery in Grasse, the world cradle of perfumery. There she learned the secrets of raw materials, accords and olfactory compositions. She then set up her own laboratory and began creating made-to-measure perfumes for individuals and brands. Since 2009, she has devoted herself solely to her craft of perfume creation.
Marie-Julie Hébert is a celebrated perfume creator known for her innovative blending techniques and exquisite, nature-inspired scents. With a background in chemistry and art, she crafts fragrances that capture the essence of emotions and memories, enchanting noses worldwide.
